New Direction Center was started in February 1995 by Drs. Earl and Marcy Flowers in obedience to the calling Christ had on both of their lives. They were immediately joined by our current shepherd, Pastor Yvonne Smith and later by Evangelist Cristina Jones.
While the Ministry is locally, Los Angeles based, it has developed a global outlook.
The Ministry puts Jesus first, guided by a Pentecostal tradition, maintaining a Bible-based approach and responding to spiritual needs with a family-oriented perspective.
